The tour includes snorkeling equipment (mask, fins, and snorkel), boat transportation to the reef, certified naturalist guide, park entrance fee, tropical fruit snack, drinking water, and safety equipment.
The Cahuita snorkeling tour lasts approximately 2 - 2.5 hours, including the briefing, boat transfer, snorkeling sessions, beach stop, and return.
The meeting point is in Cahuita Village, the marine main entrance of Cahuita National Park. Exact instructions and location details will be sent the day before the tour.
There are two daily departures — at 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., depending on sea conditions and park regulations. Private departures may be arranged upon request.
The price is $45 per person (shared group basis). Private tours are also available upon request for an additional fee.
Puerto Viejo & Cocles: $15 pp

The voluntary contribution to Cahuita National Park is not included in the tour price. Visitors are encouraged to make a donation directly at the park entrance to support local conservation and community initiatives.
Expect to see a colorful variety of reef fish, sea urchins, lobsters, rays, and possibly sea turtles.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, waterproof bag, and a change of clothes. Snorkeling gear is provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own if preferred.
