The rainforest transforms at night—when new sounds, movements, and species emerge from the shadows. With a flashlight in hand and a trained guide at your side, you’ll explore the edge of the jungle to encounter creatures that only come out after dark.

 Itinerary Details

  • Meet your naturalist guide and fellow night explorers

  • Receive safety guidelines and an introduction to nocturnal rainforest life

  • Flashlights distributed if needed

🔦 2. Guided Night Walk & Wildlife Spotting (Approx. 90 minutes)

  • Walk slowly through trails at the forest edge

  • Look for:

    • Red-eyed tree frogs and other amphibians

    • Insects like leaf-mimic katydids and stick bugs

    • Snakes, spiders, bats, and night lizards

    • Sleeping hummingbirds and other resting birds

  • Learn about unique nighttime adaptations and survival strategies

  • Your guide will help you see safely while minimizing disturbance

  • Recap of wildlife sightings

  • Q&A with your guide

  • Tips for respecting and protecting the nocturnal environment

  • This tour is not inside the national park, so no park entrance fee is required

  • Flashlights provided, but feel free to bring your own (red light preferred)

  • Wear closed shoes and bring insect repellent

  • Tour may be canceled or rescheduled due to heavy rain or unsafe conditions

  • Children (4–11 years): 35% off adult rate ($22.75 per child)

  • Children under 4: Not recommended

  • Note: National Park  entrance fees are not included and must be paid separately.

A minimum of 2 participants is required. Group discounts are available for 4 or more people.
