What’s included in the 3-in-1 package?

This package combines three of Tortuguero’s top experiences:

  • A guided night walk or Sea Turtle Nesting tour (seasonal)

  • A wildlife canoe safari through the canals

All activities are led by a certified local naturalist guide.

How long does the tour last?

The experience is split into 2 or 3 sessions for flexibility and comfort, adding up to approximately 7 hours in total.

What is the starting point?

All activities start from Tortuguero Village. Exact meeting points will be confirmed upon booking.

What time does the tour start?

We offer flexible departure times for each activity. The experience usually begins with the canoe safari, meeting at 5:45 AM to depart at 6:00 AM, when wildlife is most active. Depending on weather conditions, the start time may be postponed to a later hour. Daytime and evening activities will be scheduled around your availability.

What is the cost?
  • Adults (12+ years): From $85 per person

  • Children (4–11 years): 35% off the adult rate

  • Children under 4: Please inquire for options

  • Note: National Park entrance fee (approx. $15 per adult) is not included.

How many people are needed to operate the tour?

We require a minimum of 2 people to operate. Group discounts are available for groups of 4 or more.

Is the National Park entrance fee included?

No. The Tortuguero National Park entrance fee (about $15 per adult) is paid separately on the SINAC website and covers both the canoe safari and the jungle hike.

What wildlife might we see?

Wildlife sightings vary, but you may encounter monkeys, sloths, toucans, frogs, caimans, iguanas, and many tropical bird species. Our guides are experts at spotting hidden wildlife!
