Your guide will explain paddling techniques, safety tips, and distribute life jackets and gear before entering the canals.

The experience usually begins with the canoe safari, meeting at 5:45 AM to depart at 6:00 AM, when wildlife is most active. Depending on weather conditions, the start time may be postponed to a later hour. Daytime and evening activities will be scheduled around your availability.

What is the cost?
    • Adults (12+ years): From $35 per person

    • Children (4–11 years): 35% off adult rate

    • Children under 4: Please inquire

How many people are needed to operate the tour?

A minimum of 2 participants is required. Group discounts are available for 4 or more people.

Is the National Park entrance fee included?

No. The Tortuguero National Park entrance fee (about $15 per adult) is paid separately on the SINAC website and covers both the canoe safari and the jungle hike.
