Yes. This package includes shared land transportation in comfortable A/C vans and boat transportation to and from Tortuguero.
The Standard Shared and Comfort Shared packages use shared transfers. This means transportation may include other travelers and operates on fixed schedules.
The exact pickup time depends on your specific pickup location. Once we receive your hotel name, Airbnb, or exact meeting point, we will confirm the pickup time according to the shared transfer schedule.
For shared packages, pickup times are based on fixed schedules and cannot be fully customized. If you need more flexibility, you can request the Private Guided Package.
You cannot drive directly into Tortuguero Village because there are no roads connecting the village with the rest of the country. Access is mainly by boat or small plane.
Travelers with rental cars usually leave the vehicle at the parking area in La Pavona and continue by boat to Tortuguero. However, this package is designed to make the trip easier by including shared transportation, so you do not have to coordinate land transfers, parking, and boat logistics separately.
Both versions include the same route, shared transportation, and scheduled activities. The only difference is the accommodation level.
Standard Shared includes standard accommodation with A/C.
Comfort Shared includes upgraded accommodation with A/C.
